Purdy  is a spayed female, Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix.    We think she is about 7-8 years old.  She gets along well with other dogs and cats.  Not sure about children yet.    She is very shy, but warms up after a few days. Shadow (aka) Rudy is a beautiful Border Collie/Hound mix who was found wandering rural Colorado’s Western Slope. He is a little over a year old and healthy as a horse. Shadow loves to run and would do well with a family that hikes and/or runs. He gets along with other dogs and really wants to please his human companions. Marmaduke (aka Duke)  is a big boy, all white with two brown spotted markings. He is a very sweet albeit strong two-year old. He has worked with a professional trainer and is doing well with a firm but loving hand. With the right person who can maintain discipline and utilize Casper’s training, he would be a wonderful family pet. He rides nicely in the car and will give several kisses on the way. Duke need lots of exercise and loves to run and play in a large open area. He would be great as a hiking partner. Buddy is a black Lab/Pit mix, 2 1/2 years old, 40 lbs. He is good on
leash and off and understands verbal commands. He is intelligent and
friendly and has a lot of energy. He has been my biking and running
partner for over six months now. When not running, his second love is
play. He is always ready. If dogs could be compared to race horses,
i’d say Buddy is a thoroughbred. His face is beautiful and his body
lean. He is built for speed. He gets a little nervous around children
so i think his best match would be a single male or female interested
in an ourdoors companion. When not running or playing, Buddy  will lay
his head in your lap and look up adoringly into your eyes. He is loyal
and a good watchdog who knows when to bark and when not. He gets along
