Gender: Female, Spayed
Breed: Australian Shepherd/Husky Mix
Age: 1 year old
Abby is an interesting mix of Australian Shepherd, Husky and another shorter hair small dog breed. This combination gives her the fluffy tail of a Husky with the beautiful coloring of an Australian Shepherd. She is longing for a family that will pay attention to her since she has spent most of her young life at the end of a chain. She is playful, very affectionate, listens well, comes when called and likes other dogs. Abby is up-to-date with vaccinations and is house trained. If you would like to meet Abby, please call her foster mom, Mary, at (970) 921-3486.
Gender: Female
Breed: Sheltie/Terrier Mix

Gender: Male
Breed: Labrador Retreiver/Border Collie
Age: 2 years old
Samson is a large, playful male dog who really wants a good home. He is about the size of a German Shepherd and is great with kids but doesn’t care for cats. He gets along well with other dogs and would do fine in a multi-dog family. He seeks to please and learns very quickly. He is approximately 1-2 years old and very athletic. Needs lots of exercise but not a hyper dog. He is content to lie at your feet and snooze while you work or watch TV. Samson is a great watchdog and family protector. If you would like to meet Samson, please call CAWS at (970) 361-8600.
Ideal Home: No cats
Gender: Female, spayed
Breed: Beagle mix
Age: Adult
Lucy has the “nose” of a Beagle and the smarts of a Catahoula. Frankly, as Beagles go, she is a funny mix which makes her large for a Beagle. Lucy is one happy dog, though, especially if she’s able to go for a walk. It is a MUST that she be taken for a walk every day…she lives for them. It would also help her lose weight and calm her Beagle instincts. She is shy and a little nervous, at first, but once she warms up, she’s fun-loving and affectionate. If you’d like to meet Lucy, call her foster mom, Mary, at (970) 921-3486. Lucy is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
